Advantage Welding and Machining has a comprehensive machine shop which includes manual  and CNC machines.  We have five manual lathes which allow us to machine up to a metre swing and three metres long.  Supporting this are two manual milling machines with all the necessary rotary tables and tooling to machine a variety of operations.

 

We have two CNC machining centres of 1500X x 750Y x750/900Z. These machines manufacture components for the mining sector, as well as machining welded items to original specifications. 

 

We have recently purchased a CNC Mazak lathe to cope with the growing demand for the  manufacturing of parts, such as pins and bushes.

 

Our Sachman Bed Mill has a 3000X x 1200Y x 1500Z travel and a 10 tonne carrying capacity. With its universal head and CNC capabilities, this makes a very versatile machine.

 

Our range of equipment allows us to precision machine a wide range of components back to original specifications.  Customers have often remarked the repaired component looks brand new.

Advantage Welding and Machining also perform a large number of repairs to electrical enclosures for underground mining.  These enclosures must be manufactured and repaired to the highest standard, as when operational these enclosures must be explosion proof.  Advantage Welding and Machining have become the preferred repairer of enclosures for multiple Companies located in Rockhampton and Mackay. We have proven to consistently carry out the required repairs to the exacting standard required.
